An iron removal is a chemical decontamination tool to break down and dissolve ferrous metal particles on your vehicles wheels and paint.
This form of contamination is known as "brake dust" and is caused by braking. When you apply the brakes, the brake pads press against the rotors causing your vehicle to slow down or stop. As the pads and rotors wear down, their iron particles release into the air and cling to the wheels and paint do to its static charge. These ferrous particles are corrosive if not treated overtime and will become damaging to your vehicle.
A clay bar is a mechanical decontamination tool to remove any embedded contaminants that are still left on the clear coat after the vehicle is washed. Embedded contaminants can include industrial fall out, traffic film, tar and tree sap. These contaminants will cause the paint to have a almost sand paper feel.
Paint decontamination will prevent the sun from fully reflecting off the paint and as a result, degrading its appearance. Decontamination will also weaken the bond between your chosen layer of paint protection and clear coat, causing the protectant to break down faster.
A paint sealant typically lasts between 5 and 6 months. Because they are synthetic, they were engineered and formulated to last longer than a traditional carnauba wax. Paint sealants are more resistant to heat and UV damage. They also feel slicker to the touch, which helps prevent dirt and environmental contaminants from sticking to the paint. The downside of a paint sealant is it gives a cooler or synthetic feel and tends to be a less desirable look for the customer.
Carnauba waxes typically lasts between 1 and 3 months. Because carnauba is a plant/organic based product, it doesn't last as long as synthetic paint sealants. On the other hand, waxes have a more desirable look. They give off a warmer glow or natural look that brings richness and depth to the paint. They also contain UV blockers to prevent the paint from fading overtime and hydrophobic properties to repel water and dirt.
The wax used in our detail packages is a carnauba based, but with added polymer technology. This blend has the shine and wetness of a carnauba wax and the longevity of a paint sealant. For "The Aesthetic Detail", this package offers both a layer of paint sealant and a layer of wax to give your vehicles paint the best durability and shine
We recommend getting your vehicle detailed 2-3 times a year. The frequency can vary depending on how it's maintained, how often it's washed, how often you drive it and whether its a garage kept vehicle or not.
We recommend that you wash your vehicle every week or two using a pH balanced soap. Higher pH soaps (commonly found in car washes) will break down and possibly strip the protection on your vehicles paint.

In most cases, yes. A new car typically spends a lengthy time in transit from the factory to the dealership and often sits outside for months before you receive it.
